Heart Failure Treatment – The Impulse Dynamics Device
Australia has a new device available for the treatment of heart failure – The Impulse Dynamics implantable device called the Optimizer IVs.
The Optimizer IVs device for heart failure has been successfully launched in Europe and is available in cardiology centres in various countries. The heart failure device has been implanted in over 2,500 patients to date and is the only heart failure implanted therapy available for patients with narrow QRS complex.
The device is based on novel Cardiac Contractility Modulation (CCM) technology, and delivers non-excitatory electric pulses to the heart.
